Missing Daddy

Ten years without Daddy...seems so long since I have seen his precious face and heard his sweet voice.  But in my heart, he is here, always...singing, whistling, telling others just how much God loves them. Working...always busy, loving the outdoors...mowing grass, watering the garden at 4 a.m., and LOVE...that word, is my Daddy.  I, will miss him my whole life long...But, how blessed I am to know, that I will spend eternity with my Daddy and Jesus.

Happy Birthday Sherry

To the outside world we all grow old.  But not to brothers and sisters.  We know each other as we always were.  We know each other’s hearts.  We share private family jokes.  We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys.  We live outside the touch of time.  ~Clara Ortega

Happy Birthday Sherry... We are bound by cords that can never be broken, cords of love, cords that bind the memories of our lifetimes.  I love you!
Big sister,

Happy Birthday Sheila

Exceptional Sister

She's one in a million,
Our wonderful sister;
She's smart and she's strong;
We just can't resist her.

Sis, we're so glad
You're in our family;
We really do love you,
As you plainly can see.

So have a great birthday;
Know we're thinking of you,
Giving love and support
In all that you do!

Happy New Year

Times Gone By

Should old acquaintances be forgotten,
And never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintances be forgotten,
And days of long ago!

Chorus:
For times gone by, my dear
For times gone by,
We will take a cup of kindness yet
For times gone by.
We two have run about the hillsides
And pulled the daisies fine,
But we have wandered many a weary foot
For times gone by.

We two have paddled (waded) in the stream
From noon until dinner time,
But seas between us broad have roared
Since times gone by.

And there is a hand, my trusty friend,
And give us a hand of yours,
And we will take a goodwill drink
For times gone by!

Original Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788

I love you all!
